S&T HYDRAULICS in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic components on heavy equipment. The role requires hands-on work, adherence to safety standards, and accurate record-keeping of repairs and parts.

You will work with pumps, valves, cylinders, gear boxes, winches, and PTOs, perform welding when needed, and collaborate with a team to complete projects on time while ensuring quality and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge; able to work on complex hydraulic systems.
• Experience in heavy lifting and reading precision instruments.
• Electrical skills are an asset.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Welding skills are an asset.
• Willing to work overtime; must have own tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of strong background in hydraulic systems, mechanical knowledge. This role requires a hands‑on approach to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic components such as pumps , cylinders, valves, gear boxes , winches, PTO's and other . This position will play a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our equipment.

Duties

• Perform repairs and maintenance on hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, and cylinders.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts.
• Utilize welding skills when necessary for repairs or modifications.
