Job summary

CGC Inc. in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to support our ceilings plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, read blueprints, and perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager, requires certification, and offers a Monday–Friday, 7a–3p on-site schedule with an hourly wage of $41.01–$50.35. Competitive benefits and relocation opportunities within the CGC/USG network are provided.

Qualifications

• Industrial Millwright/Mechanic certification is REQUIRED.
• Knowledge of presses, mills, CNC machines and packaging equipment is an asset.
• Working knowledge of safety standards and procedures in an industrial environment.
• Proficient mechanical understanding.
• General welding and fabrication knowledge.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Highly motivated, results orientated team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors will be required.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (MILLWRIGHT) - OAKVILLE

CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) for our ceilings plant, based in Oakville, Ontario.

It’s a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.

Under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) conducts the daily operations of the Maintenance department.
