Summary

We are seeking a multitalented Industrial Mechanic to join the maintenance team at our pre-cast concrete manufacturing plant in Haywood, MB. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and repairing building systems and industrial equipment, we want to hear from you! This full-time position typically operates Monday to Friday, all year round (not seasonal).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. This may involve after hours/weekend call outs.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation to work each day.
• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal certification preferred but will consider underfill depending on experience and skills.
• 2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Welding capability and experience with concrete plant equipment (conveyors, overhead cranes, extruders, etc.) are all assets.
