Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Mississauga to perform routine daily maintenance and preventative tasks on processing equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical failures, document issues, and coordinate with supervisors and contractors to restore operations quickly.

Key requirements include 5 years in a processing/manufacturing setting, ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings, experience with 480V 3-phase power is a plus, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in processing/manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of 480-volt 3 phase power is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine daily maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance on processing equipment.
• Identifies problems, collects data, and recommends corrective action to restore operation.
• Interacts with operations and contractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Adheres to all facility safety programs and assists with other tasks as needed.
