Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Planner to organize preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance at the Marcel-Laurin Plant. You will coordinate with contractors, prepare for plant shutdowns, and monitor work backlog to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and spoken French.
• 5–8 years of experience in a maintenance environment.
• Excellent Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
• Asset: Maximo CMMS experience and ability to drive process improvements.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Planning and organizing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance work;
• Coordinating work with external contractors;
• Preparing work for summer and winter plant shutdowns;
• Monitoring the backlog of planned work;
• Compiling performance indicators and preparing reports;
• Coordinating planning meetings with multidisciplinary teams;
• Coordinating machine shutdowns with the appropriate departments;
• Representing the maintenance department in meetings related to upcoming maintenance activities.

How to thrive in this role?

• Good knowledge of written and spoken French
• College diploma in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, logistics, planning, or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in a maintenance environment
• Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiency
• Asset: Knowledge of Maximo (CMMS)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and take initiative to improve processes
