Canadian Linen in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team as a full-time employee. You will perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with the maintenance team to keep machinery running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a college diploma or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, trades, 2+ years in an industrial environment, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• College diploma or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, millwright trades.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with team leads for complex repairs.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and test after service.
• Operate power tools and basic machining equipment as needed.
• Observe equipment in operation to locate problems using diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers to fix higher-complexity issues.
