Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. in Ontario is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright for full-time work in a climate-controlled production environment.

The role includes supporting TPM, process improvements, data entry, and capital projects within an aerospace manufacturing context. Eligible candidates will hold a 433A Millwright License and an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic trade certificate or be an apprentice with SCI.

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic trade certificate or apprenticeship pathway at SCI.
• Holds a valid 433A Millwright License.
• Experience in data handling, TPM support and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work instructions and work specifications.
• Collect, record, document and enter all data as required.
• Support capital expenditure projects (scope, time, cost).
• Assist TPM work orders for appropriate actions and timing.
• Drive technical improvement activities as prioritized by production management.
• Support small step improvements related to quality, cost, logistics and motivation.
• Assist in process troubleshooting.
• Reduce direct expenses by standardizing tooling and machine components.
• Support optimization of machine parameters as required.
• Support Quality department efforts related to customer concerns.
• Develop standard practices for similar processes.
• Participate in capital expansion projects (launches).
• Assist with workshops (5S, Setup, TPM), CIP, product quality, scrap reduction and productivity.
• Create process troubleshooting sheets for machining and assembly processes.
