Job summary

Domtar in Dolbeau-Mistassini, QC is seeking an IT Administrator, FST to provide Level 1 and 2 support for the corporate network and the local process control network (RCP-TO) at the Dolbeau plant. This full-time position emphasizes high visibility, end-user satisfaction, and uninterrupted plant operations.

You will maintain system documentation, coordinate with the Regional IT Director, participate in 24/7 on-call duty, lead local technology projects, assist with hardware deployment, and support

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English.
• 5 years of professional IT experience.
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology.
• Knowledge of Active Directory management, security, and network components (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
• 5 years experience with Microsoft Office environments (Office 365) and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and 2 support for corporate network and local process control network (RCP-TO).
• Maintain system documentation, diagrams, and IT standards compliance.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call duty and lead local technology projects.
• Assist with hardware deployment and IMAC services.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes with teams and vendors within budget.
• Travel occasionally to other sites as required.
