Job summary

Domtar, located in Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec, is seeking an IT Administrator for the Dolbeau plant. The role covers Level 1/2 support for the corporate and local process control networks, with on-call duties and project leadership responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual (French and English), hold a DEC or bachelor’s degree in IT, and have 5 years of IT experience including Office 365, Windows Server, VMware, and Active Directory. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English required.
• DEC in IT or related field, or Bachelor’s degree in IT.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, security, and network components (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
• 5 years of IT/tech experience with Office 365 and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and 2 support for corporate and process control networks.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call duty and lead local IT projects.
• Assist with hardware deployment and IMAC services.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes with vendors and teams within budget.
• Travel occasionally to various locations as needed.
• Develop internal IT procedures and best practices.
