Job summary

Wrapex Industrial Services Inc. is seeking Journeyman and Apprentice Insulators to support insulation projects in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. You will read drawings, cut and install insulation, and apply vapour barriers across piping, equipment, and structures.

The role requires valid safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, EWP, First Aid) plus a valid driver’s license and own tools. Apprenticeship status is considered an asset.

Qualifications

Must possess CSTS, WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, EWP, and First Aid tickets.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Own required hand tools and CSA-approved safety boots.
Able to work with a variety of industrial insulation materials and handle heavy materials.
Able to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and dusty environments.
Self-motivated and able to work well in a crew and with other trades.
May be required to complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret drawings to determine insulation requirements and select materials.
Measure and cut insulation materials to required dimensions using hand and power tools.
Apply insulation and secure it using appropriate methods.
Fit insulation around piping, equipment, and structures.
Install vapour barriers and weatherproofing systems as required.
Fabricate and install metal cladding as needed.
Remove and replace existing insulation when required.
Work safely at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
