Job summary

OHS Global is seeking an Industrial Hygienist (Contractor) to join a network of consultants in Canada. The role offers project-based work with flexible hours and potential for ongoing engagements, focusing on indoor air quality, noise, ventilation, and occupational exposures.

You will conduct site work, perform sampling, analyze results, and prepare reports while supporting development of control plans and SOPs. Travel for site work and collaboration with a growing team are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational / Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of industrial hygiene or occupational health experience (consulting preferred).
• ROH, ROHT, or CRSP designation — or actively working toward one.
• Strong data analysis and technical writing skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for site work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, exposure monitoring, and sampling for IAQ, dust, noise, vapours, and other workplace contaminants.
• Analyze results, identify risks, and recommend practical controls aligned with WorkSafeBC (and other provincial jurisdictions), and CSA standards.
• Prepare clear, high-quality reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Support development of Exposure Control Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, and corrective action strategies.
• Collaborate with other OHS Global consultants on multidisciplinary projects.
