Job summary

Soucy invites motivated Industrial Engineering students to join our plant as interns in Drummondville. You will actively participate in continuous improvement projects, conducting time studies and recommending workstation layouts to improve productivity.

Daily tasks include collaborating with production and manufacturing engineering teams, analyzing results, and helping implement improvements while writing clear work instructions for operators.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a production/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies across plant processes to identify efficiency gains.
• Analyze results and propose workstation layout improvements.

What's a fun internship like?

We're currently looking for a motivated industrial engineering intern to be an indispensable player in the production, maintenance and improvement of our products in the plant!

If you accept the challenge, your main mandate will be to actively participate in continuous improvement projects in the plant, by being responsible for time studies and recommendations for workstation layout. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with the production and manufacturing engineering departments (methods, tooling and quality).

In this internship, you will have the opportunity to :

• Carry out time studies in various areas of the plant and for different processes
• Analyze results, make recommendations and, of course, actively participate in implementing improvements
• Participate in follow-up meetings for the various projects in which you will be involved
• Write and/or revise work instructions to guide operators in achieving efficient and productive work
