University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Decision Support Analyst (Industrial Engineer) to lead resource management analytics across the Data & Analytics team in Toronto. The role focuses on capacity, demand, staffing, productivity, and data-driven insights for planning and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Health Systems Engineering, Operations Research; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in decision support, industrial engineering, operations analytics, or related analytical role.
• Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, SAS, Python, R, Excel, Power Query).
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with attention to data quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resource management analysis to assess capacity, demand, staffing, workload, and performance.
• Develop decision support tools, models, reports, and dashboards for resource planning and performance monitoring.
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches and support implementation of recommendations.
• Prepare clear presentations and recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
