FTAI Aviation LLC is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Dorval, QC to lead the setup of our aeroderivative engine program. You will own shop-floor layout, define workstations, optimize material flow, and drive line balancing for a smooth ramp-up within an MRO environment.
You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to implement throughput and KPI targets, while applying Lean/Kaizen methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on CFM56 and V2500 engines. FTAI’s propriety portfolio of products, including the Module Factory and a joint venture to manufacture engine PMA, enables it to provide cost savings and flexibility to our airline, lessor, and maintenance, repair, and operations customer base. You will be part of the POWER program implementation team in charge of the production readiness, from shop floor layout design, flow efficiency & throughput calculations to strategic layout modifications sequencing to secure a smooth and efficient program ramp-up.
