Job summary

KPIC Maintenance Services Inc., a member of the FWS Group, seeks a Journeyperson Electrician for the Regina, Saskatchewan area. The role emphasizes safety, precision in electrical work, and collaboration with Millwrights and Welders to support grain handling and food processing facilities.

You will interpret drawings, install and service electrical systems, and mentor junior staff while maintaining a safe and Clean worksite. Strong troubleshooting and VFD/PLC skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Apprenticeship program with Journeyman status considered an asset.
• Dual ticket in Millwrighting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Proficient in electrical standards, codes, and best practices.
• Operate and safely use equipment including forklift, skidsteer, scissor lifts and power tools; hoisting and rigging as required.
• Assist Millwrights & Welders with mechanical inspections, repairs, maintenance and installations.
• Read and interpret drawings; lay out work to drawings and specifications; review manuals for maintenance and service.
• Use electrical test equipment and supervise laborers as needed; mentor junior workers.
• Maintain and account for company tools and keep a clean tool trailer.
