Job summary

Insight Global in Canada is seeking a certified electrician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance across automated and manual processes.

The ideal candidate holds a 442A or 309A, has a formal apprenticeship, 3–5 years of experience, and PLC exposure (Siemens or Allen-Bradley). You will read schematics, work with stamping presses, robotics, welders, and pneumatics, contributing to safety and CI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician 442A or 309A.
• Formal apprenticeship / education.
• 3-5 years Electrician experience.
• PLC experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley.
• Experience with automated and manual manufacturing processes.
• Strong experience troubleshooting, schematics and prints.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance.
• Interpret electrical schematics and prints; work with PLCs.
• Support stamping, robotics, welders and pneumatic systems; contribute to CI.
