Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for an upcoming assignment in Southwest Ontario. The role involves 10-12 hour shifts, 4 days per week, with travel and lodging accommodations as required.

You will earn $75 per hour before overtime, plus a daily meal allowance, paid travel (up to 4 hours), hotel accommodations and flight provisions when needed. Safety codes and PLC troubleshooting knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid 442A certificate required.
• Minimum 1 year industrial electrician experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Strong reading of electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting for repair of plant equipment and facilities.
• Perform building maintenance including fans, pumps, and auxiliary systems.
• Follow local and national electrical codes and engineering specifications.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and controls components.
• Read electrical schematics and follow manufacturer drawings and specs.
• Demonstrate PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and run power lines safely.
