AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for an upcoming assignment in Southwest Ontario.

This position requires 10-12 hour shifts, 4 days per week, with travel and lodging provided when required. You will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and PLC-related work on plant equipment, adhering to local codes and safety standards. The role offers paid travel, hotel accommodations when needed, and flights when required, with a competitive hourly rate.

Competenze

• Must possess a valid 442A certificate.
• Min 1 year industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and PLC programming experience.

Mansioni

• Provide troubleshooting skills for the expedient repair of all plant equipment and facilities.
• Building maintenance and repairs including fans, pumps, aux. systems.
• Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of relay logic, ladder diagrams & controls components.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and follow diagrams, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications.
• Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting/programming.
• Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• Ability to run power lines to production or service equipment according to tables and safety codes.
