Job summary

Ledcor seeks an experienced Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician to support an industrial Potash Mine project. You will read electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and install wiring, cable trays and control panels on site.

The role includes day/night shifts on a 14/7 rotation with potential OT, camp lodging, and travel allowances for non-local residents. Benefits are provided by CLAC and Ledcor emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience on a construction project in an industrial setting is required.
• Journeyperson ticket or be registered in an apprenticeship with a provincial authority.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, and electrical code specifications.
• Pull cables and install cable trays.
• Wire lighting fixtures, plugs, and switches; install control panels.
• Install electrical systems and related equipment.
• Test circuits for integrity and safety; troubleshoot defective circuits.
• Mentor apprentice electricians.
