Job summary

Magna Cosma International seeks a certified Electrician (309A) for on-site maintenance at our Milton facility. You will repair and troubleshoot base building and manufacturing equipment, read schematics, and work with PLCs.

Five years of industrial experience, ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and a focus on safety are essential. In this role you will build and service machinery, improve processes, and mentor apprentices.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician (309A)
• Minimum five years’ experience in an industrial environment, preferably automotive or fast-paced
• Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job
• Working with heights and confined spaces
• Experience with base building facilities systems, medium voltage, water cooling systems, compressed air systems, cranes

Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot base building and facilities equipment safely and in line with electrical codes
• Build new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision
• Troubleshoot actives and new machinery and equipment with minimal supervision
• Commit to continuous improvement of machinery, equipment, processes and PM system
• Train apprentices in machine maintenance and safety
