MODERN Staffing is seeking a licensed Electrician for a maintenance role in Windsor, Ontario. The position involves installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical components and control systems to support safe, reliable production in an automotive interior products environment.

The ideal candidate holds a 309A or 442A license with 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, and is comfortable reading schematics, debugging robotics/PLC/HMI systems, and working rotating shifts with

Qualifications

• Licensed electrician with 309A or 442A license.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing or automotive experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret English technical manuals and electrical schematics.
• Robotics, PLC and HMI experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Availability for rotating shifts, overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical components, machinery and control systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and logic issues and implement corrective actions.
• Complete preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain and adjust injection moulding and assembly equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals and technical instructions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to improve equipment performance, production quality and efficiency.
• Follow applicable ESA/CSA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, working-at-heights requirements and workplace safety policies.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and take appropriate corrective action.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow environmental and quality requirements, including IATF standards.
• Complete assigned work according to supervisor priorities with minimal supervision.
