Job summary

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, is seeking an Industrial Electrician in Windsor, Ontario. The role focuses on preventative and reactive electrical maintenance in an automotive stamping facility.

Responsibilities include maintaining machines and facilities, improving electrical processes, and installing and repairing electrical machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drives. A 442A/309A license and 3 years of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• 442A or 309A License is required.
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Certified to operate Aerial Lift.
• Ability to learn robot programming and PLCs.
• Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity using mechanical tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure machines and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Improve electrical processes to minimize downtime in production.
• Safely install and maintain electrical machinery and equipment.
• Repair machinery and plant support systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, drives, bearings, gears).
• Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through thorough documentation updates.

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have prior electrical experience in an automotive setting, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support to all areas ensuring that both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
• Improveelectrical processes to minimize disruption/downtime of production
• Safely install and maintain electrical machinery and equipment
• Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems:hydraulic, pneumatic,electrical,and mechanical, drives,bearings,and gears
• Read, interpret, and alter electrical schematics to ease in troubleshootingelectrical and electronic systems to ensure proper operation
• Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement through thorough documentationupdates
• Comply with and demonstrate an understanding ofmechanical and electrical prints

Minimum Qualifications:

• 442A or 309A License

The pay range for this role is $35.00/hour to $48.00/hour.
