Job summary

Fleetwood Metal Industries in Tillsonburg, Ontario is seeking a Production Operator to operate the Robot Weld Cell and produce quality parts. The role requires the ability to review part specifications and defects, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with prior experience and a willingness to work a rotating shift schedule (Days/Afternoons and Midnights). We offer competitive pay ranging from CAD 20 to CAD 30 per hour plus comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Ability to meet quota and standards by performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to retain information and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Able to work Days/Afternoons rotation or Straight Midnights.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Robot Weld Cell to produce quality parts.
• Production line work including reworking, packing, and sorting parts.
• Assist and provide support to press operators with setup procedures.
• Support the maintenance, tooling, quality, and logistics departments.
• Perform quality checks and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Utilize welding and grinding hand tools.
• Maintain and improve housekeeping within the work area.

Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for an Production Operator in our Tillsonburg, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Production Operator is responsible for operating the Robot Weld Cell and producing quality parts.Theideal candidate will have priorexperience reviewing part specifications and defects,be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. • Production line work, such as reworking, packing, and sorting parts
• Assist and provide support to pressoperatorswith set upprocedures
• Support the maintenance, tooling, quality, and logisticsdepartments
• Perform quality checks and ensure product meetsspecifications
• Utilize welding and grinding hand tools
• Maintain & improve housekeeping within workarea
• Other duties assigned by the managementteam

The pay range for this role is $20.00/hour to $30.00/hour.
