About The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Full-time Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be well-presented, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. You will play a key role in completing corrective maintenance requirements, helping deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do

1. Perform reactive maintenance on electrical infrastructure and equipment
2. Prioritize and manage workloads to complete tasks efficiently within required deadlines
3. Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with team members
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
5. Install and commission new electrical systems and components
6. Maintain detailed records of all electrical work carried out

About You

1. Trade qualified Electrician – must hold A grade Electrical Licence
2. Must have industrial manufacturing experience and working with variable speed drives
3. Oversee electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and safe completion
4. Implement preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot complex electrical issues
5. Experience and confidence in PLC fault finding (Siemens PLC knowledge is advantageous)
6. Experience with new machinery installations and building maintenance, including lighting
7. Participate in on-call roster for breakdowns
8. Basic welding skills (e.g., brackets to mount switches and lights) and installation of sensors
9. Ability to write JSA and SOP for tasks
10. MUST have full working rights in Australia
