Job summary

Superior Welding & Contracting Inc. is seeking an on-site electrical technician to install, test and renovate electrical wiring, panels, conduits and lighting in residential and commercial structures.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, the ability to read drawings and electrical code specifications, and a valid driver’s license. Work is performed fully at the physical location with no remote option; English language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical installations or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, batteries and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems.
• Interpret electrical code specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
