Job summary

Autism Services in Canada is seeking a licensed industrial electrician to test, repair, install and maintain switchgear, transformers, motors and control systems. The role involves working at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and on the road with mobile lifting equipment.

You must hold Industrial Electrician Trade Certification and Red Seal, plus safety certifications (CSTS, WHMIS). Benefits include health, dental, disability, pension, life insurance, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrician with valid trade certification and Red Seal.
• Experience testing and maintaining electrical equipment and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, and related control systems.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical systems and related devices.
• Rig and hoist equipment.
• Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes and other lifting equipment.
