Job summary

Elephant Play in Montreal seeks a CAD designer to translate design data sheets into production-ready 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and production staff.

You will prepare documents for subcontracting, manage CNC cutting files, update drawings, and support production with technical questions, while ensuring accuracy of specifications and documentation.

Qualifications

• Team collaboration and communication abilities.
• Creative and imaginative approach to technical problem solving.
• Proficiency with Solidworks to develop 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Familiarity with Rhino and AutoCAD is an asset for design tasks.
• Understanding of welded assemblies and proficiency in generating CNC cutting files.
• Ability to produce and manage documentation in Office suite.
• Functional English for internal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the production for questions related to design and drawings.
