Job summary

The Lumenpulse Group in Longueuil seeks a product designer to develop and improve architectural luminaires, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and collaborating with Product Managers. You will identify innovation opportunities and coordinate with internal and external resources to bring projects to fruition.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, 2–5 years in product design, and 1–2 years in the lighting industry are assets.

Job description

Reporting to the Product Manager, the incumbent works on the design and improvement of innovative architectural luminaires in compliance with the various applicable standards. He/she collaborates with Product Managers in the development of scopes, identifies opportunities for innovation and proposes solutions. He/she cooperates with various internal and external resources to bring projects to fruition.

Your Responsibilities

Education + Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial design or any other program/experience deemed relevant.
  • 2-5 years of relevant product design experience.
  • 1-2 years' experience in the lighting industry (or related industry) will be considered an asset.
