We're a fast-growing Montreal-based MedTech company redefining what's possible in orthopedic care. Through our proprietary mass customization software and 3D printing technology, we create patient-specific devices that simply weren't possible before. We're a small, driven team — and the problems, solutions and development we're pursuing are big.

What makes this role different
  • Real-world impact: Your designs go on real patients. Every curve and contour you define matters.
  • Frontier technology: Work with 3D-printing and mass customization at the cutting edge of medical manufacturing.
  • Full ownership: Own designs from ideation to production
What you’ll do
  • Lead the full creative cycle for next‑gen orthopedic devices — from user research and ideation through to production‑ready documentation
  • Build Class‑A 3D CAD surfaces and solid bodies in SolidWorks, working across multiple product categories simultaneously
  • Conduct in-depth field research with real users to ground every design decision in lived experience
  • Translate complex ergonomic, geometric, and mechanical challenges into elegant, manufacturable solutions
  • Communicate concepts through sketches, renderings, and presentations that make ideas immediate and tangible
  • Oversee prototype development and collaborate with suppliers and engineers to evaluate feasibility and costs
  • Run simulations and iterate designs based on test feedback, ensuring every product meets safety and performance standards
  • Produce detailed tech packs and manufacturing documentation that guide production with clarity
  • Stay ahead of trends in orthotics, prosthetics, and exoskeleton technology, feeding insights back into the design process
Qualifications
  • SolidWorks proficiency (essential)
  • 5+ years in Industrial/Product Design
  • DEC or Bachelor's in Industrial or Product Design
  • Surface and parametric 3D CAD modeling
  • Deep knowledge of materials & manufacturing (3D printing, injection molding, CNC, metal forming)
  • Experience with complex part assemblies
