Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Nova Scotia is seeking team members to perform industrial cleaning duties including Hot Wash, High Pressure, and Hose Truck operations.

You will enter confined spaces and lift up to 50lbs to set up hoses and shovel waste material while operating a vacuum truck and mobile wash. The role requires a High School Diploma, a Class 3 license, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75lbs.

• Must have good communication skills to be able to interact verbally with peers and customers
• Able to lift up to 75lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning using Hot Wash, High Pressure and Hose Truck
• Confined space entry
• Lift up to 50lbs to set up and control hoses, and to shovel waste material
• Operate vacuum truck and mobile wash
• Must be able to work night shift when required.
• Must be able to work weekends when required.
• Must be able to work long and changing shifts on short notice.
• Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to our clients, customers, vendors, both on and off the job
• Participate in all work-related tasks as assigned by your Supervisor at a variety of locations in a safe and effective manner
• Other duties as assigned.
