CPA designation and related credentialing are assets.
CPA GST/HST In-Depth Tax Course is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive indirect tax experience.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on GST/HST, QST, provincial taxes and other indirect taxes.
Lead research and develop technical positions for complex indirect tax issues.
Prepare client communications, memoranda, and ruling requests.
Manage indirect tax compliance and recovery engagements, identify planning opportunities.
Represent clients in interactions with tax authorities during audits and disputes.
Develop client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
Collaborate across Tax, Advisory and Assurance to deliver integrated solutions.
Coach and develop team members; ensure accuracy and quality.
