BDO Canada in Barrie is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Canadian Tax practice. You will own the responsibilities, including tax strategy, client service, and project leadership across Domestic Tax engagements.

You will hold CPA and advanced tax qualifications, mentor staff, and contribute to firm growth. BDO offers a people-first culture, flexible time off, and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• CPA designation completed with advanced tax qualifications.
• 7+ years in public accounting with tax specialization (min 3 years).
• Strong knowledge of corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate client business processes and policies, advise on tax policy and changes; develop proactive tax strategies.
• Apply specialized knowledge to anticipate and address tax issues for clients.
• Provide technical and project leadership for Domestic Tax projects; ensure quality control.
• Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on business and tax opportunities; review tax returns.
• Build strong client relationships and support engagements.
• Engage in staff training and develop your team.
