Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, International Tax Services to join our Markham office. You will lead international tax engagements, advise clients on cross-border planning, and deliver practical, value-driven tax solutions.

You will mentor teams, develop new business, and strengthen client relationships while upholding our integrity, respect and collaboration. CPA designation and MTax or In-Depth Tax Course required; 8+ years public accounting experience.

Qualifications

• CPA designation (Canadian CPA) and In-Depth Tax Course or MTax.
• 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience in Canadian and international tax.
• Deep knowledge of cross-border tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
• Experience leading complex tax engagements and coaching teams.
• Strong client relationship and business development capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage international tax engagements for diverse clients.
• Provide cross-border tax planning, compliance and advisory services.
• Review technical tax research, memoranda, reorganizations, and related work.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
