Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

CoolIT Systems, Inc. is hiring a full-time Indirect Buyer to support our growing supply chain department. Reporting to the Manager, Global Procurement, you will be responsible for creating purchase orders, managing purchasing cycles, and ensuring ERP accuracy. You will optimize PO lines, monitor stock levels, coordinate material receipts, and advise on procurement.

Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders for services, tools, projects, kanban, and other indirect materials needed for manufacturing and operations.
• Establish specifications regarding optimal purchase quantity, quality, and budget impact.
• Manage the purchasing cycle, including PO creation, follow-up, goods reception, and final payment. Seek contract opportunities.
• Ensure ERP system data accuracy.
• Manage PO lines for pull ins, push outs, and cancellations.
• Monitor stock levels daily.
• Coordinate receipt of materials with Logistics, Receiving, and IQC departments.
• Advise internal customers on procurement issues, providing support throughout the cycle.
• Analyze historical spend, forecast, and identify savings opportunities.
• Generate procurement reports and look for automation opportunities.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal partners, strategize indirect spend.
• Continuously seek process improvements and cost savings.

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in business or related field.
• Ability to analyze financial, operational, and user data.
• Capability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
