WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

CoolIT Systems, Inc. is hiring a full time Indirect Buyer to support our growing supply chain department at CoolIT. Reporting to the Manager, Global Procurement, you will be responsible for creating purchase orders, managing purchasing cycles, and ensuring ERP accuracy. You will be required to optimize PO lines, monitor stock levels, coordinate material receipts, and advise on procurement.

Responsibilities:

• Create Purchase Orders for services, tools, projects, kanban and other indirect material required to keep the manufacturing and operations running
• Establish specifications in terms of optimal quantity to purchase, quality required and the cost impact on budget
• Manage the purchasing cycle, including PO creation, PO follow-up, goods reception, and final payment. Seek opportunities to establish contract agreements.
• Ensure accuracy of purchasing and coding information within the ERP system
• Manages PO lines effectively for pull ins, push outs and cancellations
• Monitor stock levels of products that are the service's responsibility on a daily basis
• Coordinate receipt of materials with the Logistics, Receiving and IQC departments to mitigate time loss and ensure cross department communication is maintained
• Advise internal customers on procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stages of the procurement cycle
• Analyze historical spend forecast spend and savings by commodity/business
• Generate procurement reports from source systems (spend, transaction reports), looking for opportunities to automate areas of indirect spend.
• Responsible to build sound relationships with suppliers and partners (internal and external) with a higher objective of stopping rogue spending, analyze, bundle into logical areas of spend and set up the strategic direction of all indirect requirements and spend.
• Continually look for ways to exceed customer’s expectations, increase efficiency implement better processes and achieve cost savings globally

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• Two-year degree in business or a related field
• Analyzes financial, operational and subjective user data to determine effectiveness of supplier provided goods and services
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks
• Intermediate to Advance Level competency with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
