Job summary

Pinchin Canada seeks an Indigenous Relations Leader to join the Mining & Natural Resources team in Western Canada. You will build and sustain respectful relationships with Indigenous Nations, communities, organizations, and Indigenous-owned businesses, guiding engagement planning and community-focused project delivery.

Reporting to the Director of Mining, you will partner with business development, operations, and technical teams to advance reconciliation commitments and expand Indigenous

Qualifications

• Experience building authentic, respectful partnerships with Indigenous Nations, communities, organizations, and Indigenous-owned businesses.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to travel across Western Canada for community engagements and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen Pinchin’s relationships with Indigenous Nations and communities across Western Canada.
• Guide engagement planning, protocols, and cultural awareness for project teams.
• Support Indigenous participation plans in mining pursuits and client presentations.
• Identify opportunities related to Indigenous procurement, employment, training, and local service delivery.
• Coordinate engagement activities with operations, technical, and leadership teams.
