First Nations University of Canada seeks a Sessional Instructor for INHS 250 S01/S02/S10/S50 in Winter 2027. • Master’s degree with at least 5 years work experience.
• Relevant teaching experience in a post-secondary environment.
• Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be an asset.
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
• Self-motivation with attention to detail and academic reporting compliance.
• Experience working in a cross-cultural environment; ability to speak a First Nations language is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Teach course content within university guidelines and assess students.
• Monitor, facilitate discussions, and assign grades for cohorts.
• Prepare outlines and final exams; invigilate and grade exams and papers.
• Provide academic counselling and support for homework and exam preparation.
• Coordinate with Department Heads on academic or student matters.
• Perform other duties per the Collective Agreement.
