Job summary

Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) is seeking an HR Business Partner to align people strategies with operational priorities while honoring Tahltan culture. You will partner with leaders to foster trust, respect, and accountability, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development across TNDC.

The role requires strong HR generalist experience, knowledge of employment laws, and a commitment to Indigenous values.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR, ideally as a generalist or HRBP.
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal employment legislation, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR program implementation.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and coaching to managers and employees on policies and procedures.
  • Partner with operational leaders to align people strategies with business priorities.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes including job postings, screenings, and interviews.
  • Assist in workforce planning and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Support leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Promote inclusive employment practices and Tahltan community engagement.
