TNDC is the business arm of the Tahltan Nation —Tahltan-owned, working in Tahltan Territory, on projects that will definenorthwest B.C. for the next fifty years. Our Community Business ServiceCoordinator in Dease Lake is where that work meets the community day to day.
This role serves as a primary local point of contactfor TNDC employees and community members in Dease Lake. The Community BusinessServices Coordinator provides directions on administrative matters, includingforms, payroll and expense inquiries, benefits, HR processes, and employee support,ensuring questions are documented, routed to the appropriate department, orOperations team member, and followed up in a timely and respectful manner.The role also supports two-way communication between TNDC and the community bygathering feedback, identifying concerns, preparing engagement reports, andhelping ensure TNDC operations align with Tahltan protocols. In addition, the coordinatorsupports cultural awareness and community engagement activities; liaises withElders, community leaders, and cultural advisors; supports local hiring,training, and community investment initiatives; assists with board meetingcoordination as an extension of the CEO's Executive Assistant; and provides supportto the TNDC Board Chair as required.

Support thegrowth of the Tahltan workforce by helping build capacity, promoting safeandeffective work practices, and ensuring that knowledge is passed on tostrengthen both the team and the broader Tahltan community for the benefit ofcurrent and future generation.
