Qualifications

• Education and experience in child development, parenting and FNIM culture.
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check.
• Strong cultural literacy and competence in culture-based services.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate culturally-based early learning and prevention programs for families with children 0 to 6.
• Ensure content is evidence-based and culturally appropriate in areas like child development, nutrition, parenting, and family violence.
• Engage with male caregivers and families through community visits and relationship-building.
• Provide guidance on early learning and development, family life, relationships and related matters.
• Deliver both children’s and male parenting empowerment programs to promote identity and culture.
