Tikinagan Child & Family Services in Ontario seeks a Family Service Worker to oversee services and supports for families whose children are in care or under supervision, guided by the Mamow Obiki-ahwahsoowin Service Model. Starting salary is 69,040 CAD per year. The position requires Indigenous cultural knowledge, confidentiality, travel, and a valid driver’s license. No remote work or relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Interest in working with children and youth.
• Knowledge of and lived experience with Indigenous culture.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• Ability to speak Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
• Willing to attend training as required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain one.
• Travel is a requirement.
• No remote work available.
