Job summary

Tikinagan Child & Family Services seeks a Family Service Worker to oversee services and supports for families involved with children in care and those receiving services. The role is guided by the Mamow Obiki-ahwahsoowin Service Model, emphasizing collective action to raise children within Indigenous communities.

Candidates should have a desire to work with children and youth, knowledge of Indigenous culture, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Starting Salary $69,040.

The Family Service Worker oversees services and supports to families – families whose children have been taken into care and families whose children are in their care and are receiving services from Tikinagan. The work of the Family Service Worker is guided by our Mamow Obiki-ahwahsoowin Service Model – everyone working together to raise our children.
