A private mental health practice in Edmonton is seeking a Registered Psychologist to provide psychotherapy and assessments. The role offers flexibility with full-time hours, administrative support, and opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates have relevant experience, a PhD or Masters in Psychology, and are registered with the appropriate licensing body.

Qualifications

• Registered Psychologist able to provide Psychotherapy, Psychoeducational and/or Psychological Assessments.
• Ability to administer Adult Assessments if an asset.
• You have relevant working experience in areas of practice, with an emphasis on PTSD and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

However, our referrals are not limited to trauma-related challenges as we also work with adults, couples, families, and children facing a wide range of mental health and personal challenges. Our clinicians are employed as independent contractors and have access to both a comprehensive benefits package and educational allowance. NuVista is a private mental health practice specializing in QEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback, helping clients of all ages with concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, concussions, brain injuries, seizures, strokes, and performance challenges.

Who you are:

• Registered Psychologist able to provide Psychotherapy, Psychoeducational and/or Psychological Assessments
• Ability to administer Adult Assessments if an asset
• PhD or Masters in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
• You have relevant working experience in areas of practice, with an emphasis on PTSD, trauma-informed practice
• Experience working with Public Safety Personnel
• You do not require supervision hours to be completed
• You are registered with the appropriate licensing body
• You possess Professional Liability Insurance or are willing to obtain
• You demonstrate professionalism and effective case management skills (e.g., timely reports)
