Instacart Shoppers is seeking a Production Operator for a six-month contract in Ontario. The role focuses on packaging, repackaging, and production while following procedures, safety rules, and workplace policies.

Pay is $21.00 per hour for the Day Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM). You will operate filling machines, label containers, and record production data using RF scanners, while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and training provided by supervisors.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Forklift experience is an asset (TDG training is an asset but not required).

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our clients team on a six-month contract. This position is responsible for the efficient packaging, repackaging, and production of various products while following established procedures, safety protocols, and workplace policies.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Meet customer packaging requirements and finished-product specifications
• Fill containers to proper specifications
• Label containers accurately according to instructions
• Complete required production and inventory paperwork
• Perform manual packaging and production tasks as needed
• Operate packaging equipment, including filling machines, cappers, boxers, and related equipment
• Handle customer products carefully and in accordance with established specifications
• Use RF scanners to record production and inventory information
• Perform quality inspections throughout the packaging process
• Operate pressure washers and work in wash bays to clean empty containers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse by following daily housekeeping standards
• Perform repetitive motions and lifting associated with production-line work
• Complete other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous production experience in a manufacturing environment — 1 year required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to follow instructions and training provided by supervisors
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement of processes and practices
• Counterbalance forklift experience — 1 year preferred
• Forklift experience is considered an asset
• TDG training is considered an asset but is not required
