Job summary

Vitrum Industries is seeking a Production Shipper to safely package and prep finished goods for outbound shipment. You will scan, label, and stage items, and operate a forklift to move racks within the facility.

Join a fast-paced production team focused on quality, safety, and efficiency. Candidates should have forklift certification, strong communication in English, and the ability to lift 35–50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum six months of experience in shipping, production, manufacturing, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is required, with at least one year of forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to lift and move 35-50 pounds consistently throughout shifts.
  • Experience with skid steer is an asset.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Inspect products and packaging to ensure they are properly secured and protected before shipment.
  • Label, scan, and stage finished products for outbound shipment.
  • Safely operate a forklift to move racks of glass and finished products within the facility.
  • Load and prepare finished products for shipment in coordination with the shipping and production teams.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure products are packaged and ready for shipment efficiently and on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and practices at all times.
  • Ensure proper handling of products to minimize damage, breakage, and waste.
  • Assist with other production and shipping-related duties as assigned.
