Job summary

Spinal Cord Injury Ontario seeks an Employment Engagement Specialist to support job seekers and build employer/community partnerships. This contract full-time role (to March 31, 2027) combines on-site Toronto work with community-based activities and requires engaging diverse clients, including those with disabilities and ODSP recipients, to achieve KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in community relationship building and outreach.
• Knowledge of employment services for people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote SCIO services and broaden reach through community engagement.
• Advocate for clients to access external resources and opportunities.
• Develop employer relationships to match job seekers with opportunities.
• Prepare monthly reports and maintain client activity documentation.
• Provide ongoing support and follow-ups to clients post-employment.
