Qualifications

• Diploma in Childhood or Educational Assistant programs preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with special needs.
• Familiarity with challenges such as language delays, behavior, emotional regulation, and motor delays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educational instruction and adapt materials for identified students.
• Monitor progress, collect data, and provide observations to teachers.
• Assist with transitions and inclusivity within school and community settings.
• Attend to students' personal needs including hygiene and basic care.
• Administer medication per school procedures and follow safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in professional learning.
• Provide input in meetings with parents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school.
