What is the opportunity?

RBC is recruiting a Coordinator that will deliver on the audit and control measures for the Mortgage Specialist Compensation program ensuring adherence to compensation standards and guidelines; mitigation of risk; and verifying conformity to regulatory requirements.

What will you do?

  • Conduct verification for individual mortgage transactions to ensure compensation is correctly processed in accordance with process and policy.
  • Achieve daily process volume targets while meeting quality expectations related to completeness and accuracy.
  • Deliver an exceptional partner experience by researching and responding to compensation related queries and issues raised.
  • Act as a team player and contribute to continuous improvement, productivity and process execution risk mitigation through idea creation and collaboration

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience working in a service operations environment (achieving volume targets while maintaining quality standards)
  • Problem solving capabilities and a proven ability to simplify the complicated.
  • Ability to adapt to process and program/policy changes.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships with internal and external business partners; customer service oriented.
  • Operates efficiently within a framework of deadlines, task priorities and adjustments to work schedules in order to meet business targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with RBC technological platforms
  • Understanding of Home Equity Finance products and transaction types
  • Experience with process audit and controls
