Job description

Job Title: Inbound Warehouse Manager

The role involves managing an aftermarket automotive parts distributor. You will be responsible for delegating tasks, training, coaching, and directing corrective actions to resolve day-to-day operational issues. Planning and strategizing to enhance productivity and implementing new processes and SOPs are key aspects of this position. You will also set goals for your team, addressing any internal issues with warehouse staff, and ensuring health and safety processes are completed correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Delegate tasks and train warehouse staff.
  • Coach employees and direct corrective actions.
  • Resolve day-to-day operational issues.
  • Plan and strategize to enhance productivity.
  • Implement new processes and SOPs.
  • Set goals for the team and monitor progress.
  • Address internal issues with warehouse staff.
  • Ensure health and safety processes are completed correctly.
Essential Skills
  • 6+ years of warehouse management experience.
  • Experience managing a unionized environment.
  • Experience managing a warehouse of at least 100 people across different shifts.
  • Continuous improvement experience.

Work Environment

The role is based in a 150,000 square foot warehouse with 80 employees per shift. This outbound warehouse stores all already boxed and prepped parts for delivery to wholesalers and clients, functioning similarly to a 3PL. The warehouse features 20-foot racks with Raymond reach equipment. Regular working hours are from 7 AM to 3 PM, but as you oversee all three shifts, there may be occasions where working late or on an off-shift is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
