We are seeking a EPC Planner / Scheduler to support projects within the Oil & Gas and Chemical sectors in Brampton, ON. The role involves managing a broad range of EPC or EPCM projects, requiring high attention to detail, organization, and strong analytical skills. You will also lead and train a team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining schedules at various levels, including resource-loaded and milestone schedules, with critical path analysis.
  • Monitoring schedule performance, analyzing deviations, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Leading project performance measurement using EVM and preparing planning reports.
  • Collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure schedule integrity and change management adherence.
  • Developing resource-loaded schedules for all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Contributing planning input for proposals and bids.
  • Ensuring effective communication and relationships within project teams and with clients.
  • Working with project controls to align forecasts and develop best practices.
  • Participating in risk assessments and continuous process improvements.

Required experience and skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Primavera P6, including resource and cost loading, re-baselining, CPM, and scope changes.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in EPC/EPCM projects within Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Experience with WBS and CBS structures.
  • Ability to control quality of work and ensure schedule integrity.

This position is primarily home-based, with occasional travel to other offices, client sites, or project locations.
